A Very Warm Welcome

From The Lodge of Unity 567

One of the oldest Lodges in England

The Lodge of Unity has been meeting continually for over 170 years, however, the average age of our members is probably one of the lowest in Warwickshire. We are an enthusiastic forward looking lodge who maintain and respect traditions inherited from our forefathers whilst not losing sight of the great pleasures of modern life.

In short we have fun. We enjoy our masonry and welcome all visitors and new members with open arms. We carry out our ceremonies with dignity and donate modest sums to local and national charities and each year hold a number of great social events for our members and their families and friends.

If you are already a Freemason and would like to visit our lodge; are interested in becoming a joining member; or would like to know more about Freemasonry then please don't hesitate to contact us.

We meet the first Wednesday of each month, October to April at:

Alderson House
23 High Street, Warwick, England, CV34 4AX

Our regular start time is 6.15 pm

In addition to regular lodge nights, our lodge of instruction, which was formed in 1929, is well attended and gives members the opportunity to learn our ‘Unity Workings’ in a warm jovial and friendly atmosphere. Here we not only learn ritual but also the who, why and where of freemasonry as well as Masonic etiquette, dress codes and how to give and receive toasts. We also discuss football, cricket, cars, beer and curry but never politics or religion. The Lodge of Unity Lodge of Instruction meets at 7pm on the third Wednesday of each month October to March.

What is Freemasonry?

Freemasonry is one of the world’s oldest and largest non-religious, non-political, fraternal and charitable organisations. Although its roots lie in the traditions and ceremonies of the medieval stonemasons who built our cathedrals and castles, modern Freemasonry is about making friends with like minded men from all faiths and backgrounds who follow a moral and ethical approach to life. It is an organisation of men who believe that the worth of a man can be measured . . . not by wealth or by fame, but by his deeds, character and by his love for others.
